Drum trigger sample for drum enhancement in recordings or live use. Recorded at a music store in brazil, along with other kicks and snares, using audio technica at2020 condenser, alesis io4 interface and edited by me using the daw reaper. The sample is highly processed, with comp and eq, and have no resemblance with the original sound source. However, it adds a very cool punch and tone, perfect for music styles like rock and metal.

A single long happy contented sigh of a man aged between 30 and 45. Imagine he's sliding into a hot bath. Or taking a sip from a well deserved cup of coffee. He's a very happy man. Recorded at home on a rode nta1 mic using adobe audition cs6 on a pc. The voice is my own, the only edit was a cleaning of bg noise on the record and a trim to remove extraneous sound.

I was recording wind that blows in my window, but the zoom h2 placed on a (cheap) mic stand after some time started to bend itself downwards. It hit the curtain/drape in my window and rubbed itself against it until reached the lowest position - the mic stands arm stopped gently as it started. This produced a very interesting sound that i totally didn't expect to find on the recording. Edited with audacity.

This is an editied version of acclivity's sound file, "30832_acclivity_summereveninginmygarden". His original file contains a barking dog, which depending on your usage, can deter from the intent of your project. Since acclivity's recording has excellent signal to noise ratio, and has captured some beautiful birdsong, i thought other people might be able to use this edited file with all the dog barking taken out.

This sample was created solely from instruments downloaded on freesound. Org. Having experimented more, i created another break with lfo band frequencies adjusted to create a white noise type break. I then played them simultaneously and mixed one into the other to create the effect of moving the eq in real time. To fully appreciate this, you need to download and play it seemlessly looped. This is recorded at 90 bpm for the continuum 4 project. You can visit the thread here:. Http://www. Freesound. Org/forum/dare-the-community/32704/. Here are the sounds used in the break:. Recorded at my kitchen with zoom h4n with built-in microphones, over stainless steel sink, using 3 bottle shapes 700 and 750 ml filled with water and drained. (it's a foley story--i wouldn't be guilty of wasting good 12-year-old scotch, or bourbon or australian wine--no way--sorry dad. I drank them all down my gullet. )(but not all in one sitting!).

Simple patch. Two oscillators, ring modulation, lfos, vcas and digital effects. No spring reverb this time. Important module is the clock divider. Result a generative ambient patch and sound. I recorded for 1,5h. The synth gave me some strange slow crescendo. Don't really know why. This is the last 30 min. Space drone sci-fi sound.

This is a gurgling sound i created by accident. It's a short clip from the "new dimensions in sound (1957)" public domain clip from the prelinger collection at archive. Org. Specifically, i used this line: "as the record plays, the needle wiggles. " cut out the first part, made a loop of "the needle wiggles. . . The needle wiggles," and lowered the pitch with reapitch by two octaves. This was the result.
